Hello Isis, thank you for agreeing to this interview. How do you see your role in PFM The Magazine?
NP Hon, I'm honored you guys picked lil ol' me :D
You have been in IMVU for sometime now, how do you judge what you have seen over the years?
Lol, well some of the thing's I've seen and ~coughs~ experienced here shouldn't be mentioned in a family mag, lol. But, overall, I've had a great experience here. I've met some great people and formed true friendships. Of course, the flip side of that is I've met some really....not so nice guys also, lol. And, some of the changes that IMVU has made have been for the worst in my opnion, buuut, that's a whole other story.
Do you relish the fact that you are contributing to PFM The Magazine and our other magazine PMM The Magazine as well?
Oh, I love that I can do my part to help out. I take a little longer than some, but I love the jobs that I have. Especially the interviews; it's great meeting and interacting with new people. And then when I was chosen this month to be on the cover i was chocked, lol. In a good way tho :D
What do you feel we need, as an "organization" that publishes e-zines, to keep our readers coming back each month?
Hmm, that's a good one. I feel like you just have to keep things fresh. It's really hard to keep people's attention for long, but as long as you keep them on their toes with new topics, helpful information, and gossip (let's face it, people love gossip, lol) there should be a strong and loyal fan base. A lot of my friends read it just to see who's featured, lol.
Well, I'd like to think I'm kind of important, lol. I feel like we're more of a family there, and everyone in a family is important, right? I'm one of the interviewers and I do the fashion advice. So, I think, on my part, I have to keep things interesting in my articles so people will want to keep coming back. It's a fashion based mag, so if I were to mess up on my work, it would look pretty bad, lol. Plus, you guys know you can always come to me for anything else that needs to get done :D
I have seen some of your pictures and they are very clear and sharp how do you do it? Where does your inspiration come from?
~Blushes~ Aww, thank you! Well, for one, and this is a secret, so I'm not sure I should be telling you, lol, but I use a gloss-over when I'm done with a picture. It makes it look more clear and shiney sometimes. I also go back and rescale the original rather than rescaling it several times. Meaning, I practice the 1st time to get it just right, then I delete that copy, open the pic as a new player, and put in the coorinates that I used with the practice run. As for my inspiration...well, I love color! So, I try to incorporate as much color as I can that looks good with the product(s) that I'm working with. I look at whatever it is that I'm doing the picture for, and something just comes to me :D I'm one of those people that just sits down and works off the top of her head, you know. Sometimes it works out, sometimes it's a bust, lol.
Who are some of your favorite developers? Woo, where to start!
Lol. Well, of course VisNova, what model doesn't love his work. Umm, DaBossLadie, LaydeeFreakish, MsFlirt, MajestiRepublic, Anida10, Liziaah, Synscere, Lollirot, PeepinGame, Kokane, Inspirar, PimpinLegacy, Brooklynite718, CandiTaste, DiamondIycePrincess, R3myR3d, MeMe, BAM for all my hair needs, and ColumbusGAGurl
What modeling advice can you offer for our Ladies?
Well, 1st and foremost, BE PATIENT!!! Lol, that's the hardest thing about modeling, especially when you first start out. The jobs will come ladies, but you just have to get out there and be seen. Don't just go page hopping and messaging the devs, but join modeling groups, do competitions, make a portfolio, and BE SEEN! It's also good to make yourself marketable, spice up your avi, lol. A lot of devs look for models who have a unique look. There are thousands of girls on here, so what makes you stand out? Find a signature look and play it up. And don't be afraid to change your look up either. Some devs want you to be versatile. For instance, I have several different skins, some neon ones even, and we aren't going to talk about the hair! Lol, just don't be afraid to look different. And please, leave reviews. This is soooo helpful to the devs, and they really appreciate it. And lastly, remember, devs are people too, lol. Talk to them, get to know them ad a person, don't make it always about work. :)
Thank you for your time Isis I hope to see and read more from you.
Thank you!
